Belagavi: Denying speculations and allegations that the district Congress unit is split due to differences among leaders, SSI Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi has said, all party leaders in district are united as there are no differences between them. Some of them may be upset as aspirants for party tickets are more this time, he said while clarifying that the leaders are united.
While stating that he did not have any clues of some Congress leaders including Jarkiholi brothers moving to JDS, he said, the question of party leaders switching over to other parties would not arise when they had so much scope for growth here.
Commenting on tickets to be allotted to leaders in Khanapur for coming assembly elections, he said, he would want the party to give ticket to local leaders in Khanapur to build the chances of winning there. However, he said, he would have to welcome the party’s decision ultimately on allotment of tickets in any constituencies. It may be noted that Dr Anjali Nimbalkar is trying hard for a party ticket from Khanapur and working on ground for a long time with a hope.

Calling allegations levelled against CM’s son Yateendra as uncalled for, he said, Yateendra would not become a criminal the moment an FIR filed against him but it had to be proved in the court of law.
He rallied behind MLA Feroz Sait stating that he would become legislator for the third time and also be made a minister for sure.
Criticising BJP leader Yeddyurappa’s claims that he would win 15 out of 18 seats in Belagavi district, Jarkiholi said, Yedyurapp was involved in a false propoganda. The Congerss would win at least 10 seats in Belagavi and would increase the tally to 12 if it worked hard.
