Belagavi: Former minister and AICC secretary Satish Jarkiholi who maintains low key in state politics ever since he was expelled from the state cabinet, has denied rumours that he is switching to JDS while stating that he would be the CM candidate in Congress party after the next two assembly polls in the state.

Denying that he ever held talks with anybody to switch to JDS, he said in Belagavi today that the question of his defection to JDS from Congress party did not arise and asserted that he would be an aspirant for CM’s post after the next two elections. He said he would try to become CM and hold the top post in the coming future. While stating that he had been striving to build the party stronger, Satish said, efforts were on to deprive his deserving associates of party tickets. Commenting on differences among party leaders in Belagavi, Satish said, nothing was right in Belagavi Congress party and that leaders had lots of differences. The leaders must trouble-shoot problems before they aggravated, he added.
