Bagalkot: The phototropic act of a government school employee has received appreciation from none other than Primary and Secondary Education Minister, Suresh Kumar himself. Mohammed Hussain, who is working as ‘D’ group employee in government high school of Hiresinganagutti village in Ilkal taluk, had decided to celebrate birthday of his son in a different manner. He celebrated the memorable day by spending money from his own pocket to paint the school.
Hussain spent around Rs. 30,000 to paint the school in order to make the birthday of his son more meaningful and memorable. When the matter reached the Education Minister, he sent an appreciation letter to Hussain and hoped that more such philanthropists come forward in government schools. He said that despite his limited salary, Hussain contributed money to paint the school where he is serving which is matter of pride and appreciation. Considering his novel and kind hearted job, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer, T. Bhubalan visited the school on Friday to appreciate Hussain and handover letter of appreciation.
